Argos Therapeutics Publishes Approach To Generating High-Avidity Cytotoxic T Cells With Dendritic Cell-Based Immunotherapy

Argos Therapeutics today announced the publication of a paper in the October 15th issue of the Journal of Immunonology demonstrating that the Company’s proprietary RNA-electroporated dendritic cells generate high-avidity cytotoxic T cells (CTL) in vitro that are able to destroy cells expressing their target antigens.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC) today announced the initiation of a three-drug combination study of elotuzumab (also known as HuLuc63), a humanized anti-CS1 monoclonal IgG1 antibody administered intravenously, in combination with REVLIMID® (lenalidomide), and dexamethasone for the treatment of multiple myeloma in patients who are experiencing a relapse.

Vioxx Heart Risk Persists One Year After Stopping Use
